Wonderful

The pool area was great with the surrounding trees and no street views. It was a colder time of the season so it was great that we had access to the indoor heated pool! The food was better than we expected also.

Long weekend away - all we needed!

Stayed with 3 friends for a long weekend of golf and it was everything we needed. The breakfast had plenty of choice, the pool bar was a great option for an easy lunch, and the beer was reasonably price. Everywhere we needed to go was a short uber away. Staff were all very friendly, would happily recommend.

Good

The property is well located for the beach and for some of the beach bars. Also there is a lot of walking near by. Breakfasts are great - a huge choice.

The hotel is quite expensive. We spent £2,000 for a week in September and we had to pay for bottled water every night and they charge for the sun beds on the beach. I do think these should be included. Also the staff are not very smiley or friendly- there was only 1 or 2 exceptions - the rest were miserable.

Would highly recommend the Ria Park Hotel and Spa.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with good facilities. The pool area is great, well looked after and tranquil. Pool bar offers a good choice of food and drinks. Breakfast is delicious and with plenty of choice. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Lobby bar is a nice finish to your day.

Great hotel in good location. We will be coming back!

The breakfast was fantastic with everything you would want. A huge choice. The room was a good size with a garden view. The location is really good. It’s a 10 min walk to the beach and restaurants or you can go in the hotel bus free of charge.

The outdoor pool could have been a bit warmer but not too bad. I still swam in it every day.

Spacious hotel. Elegant lounge/lobby bar area. Great swimming pool.

Amazing stay, great staff would highly recommend!

The service provided at the hotel was amazing. Everyone working at the hotel really made you feel welcomed and couldn't do enough to make sure your stay was perfect.

The gym facilitates could be improved and the rooms did feel a little outdated but i think this is very much the vibe in this area of Portugal from looking at other hotels.

Unbelievable

Everything! There wasn’t anything to fault. The hotel is so luxurious. We upgraded on our first night to the suite and it was amazing. The amenities of the hotel were fabulous. The household staff were timely and very friendly. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and attentive and so down to earth. The porters always had a smile on their face and were extremely friendly. We were travelling with our 10 month old baby which had its challenges. The hotel really did everything to ensure our stay was amazing and relaxing. Thanks again guys. We’ll be back next year!

Really and truly there wasn’t anything to fault as it was amazing. I will say there were two members of the main reception were a little cold and when my husband had requested toast for our son from the female receptionist , she sniggered and laughed and spoke Portuguese not realising my husband was fluent by the way, that it was funny. But I would suggest further training for this female receptionist. As for the male head receptionist , he could come across a little border arrogant in his manner. I would recommend he take it down a notch. Thanks though , the majority of the staff were amazing and we will be back next year!

Very comfortable hotel, offering everything you can need for a sunshine holiday.

Excellent check-in on arrival. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms I booked were close to each other. as requested (one twin room for my children, and one double room for my wife & me). Breakfast was a daily feast. there was so much choice. Superb! Indoor and outdoor seating available. The pool was very good. Sensible temperature and big enough for everyone. There was an indoor pool too, but I didn't use it. The mix of clientele was varied - from families to young and older couples. A nice mix. We ate in the main restaurant one evening and had drinks in the bar afterwards and played cards and drank cocktails. There was even a very good pianist playing. Perfect. It was approx 10 minutes stroll down to the beach and the cluster of 5/6 bars and restaurants in the evening.

Not very much. It was all as expected, an excellent hotel, however, to buy bottles of water was quite expensive.

Fantastic hotel

Setting is fab & staff extremely helpful

I’m a wheelchair user & there is no lift down to the swimming pool. It was a large slope, which luckily my family could push me up & down.
